As a child I used to get me an Orange Julius from a soda shop on Fourth Street. I would then head upstairs to Fisher’s Hobby Store. The place was magic to me! Trains, model airplanes, cars everywhere you looked. My mom had to come up and drag me downstairs.
I think Roundhouse is the kind of store Fishers was. Magic everywhere with respect to trains.I hope the kids think so!
Couse, the little kids want to touch and operate the trains. This is where you have to watch out for Tom the conductor. If he sees a little kid getting too touchy-feely with the trains, he will cut his little hands off and puts them in a big box behind the counter. So, watch out little Kids!
I love this place. Great train store. Wish i could go more often. Has something for everyone.
